"About" Patricia J. Johnson Entrepreneur, Real Estate Broker, Television Hostess
Patricia Johnso:n is broker and sole proprietor of Really Care Realty, developer and Really Care Management Ergonomic Consultant. She is a Broker and sold properties in the East Bay and South Bay in Northern California.
Her real estate career initiated in 2001 as an agent for Coldwell Banker. She sold both residential and commercial property. Her sales included single family homes, condominiums, and townhouses. In 2005, she passed the California Real Estate Broker's Examination which led to the innovation and development of Really Care Realty.
Patricia has also received an industry credential for Senior Real Estate Specialist and Short Sale and Foreclosures. She has completed coursework and certified in Property Management. She continues weekly industry-related coursework through a variety of sources including: Realtor.org, Santa Clara Association of Realtors, East Bay Association of Realtors, and an affiliate and supporter of California Real Estate Academy of San Jose, CA.
She is also member of MLSListings.com, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Department of Real Estate License is 01314528.
Along with her real estate expertise, Patricia possesses a varied background in other work fields related to marketing and sales. She developed television programming through Access Communications of Los Altos, ISSUES OF SILICON VALLEY. She worked at both Hewlett-Packard and Apple in seminar management and developed Really Care Management whereby she consulted, provided seminars and training to reduce the incident of repetitive strain injuries in the workplace. As a solution, the Really Care Wrist Rest line of products were developed and sold along with other ergonomic products including ergonomic chairs, articulating keyboard trays, the Kinesis and Ergo-Logic keyboards, glare screens, and footrests. She developed her own check-list to provide workstation evaluation to prevent injuries in the workplace. Her clients include: Hewlett-Packard, Apple Computer, LSI Logic, City of Santa Clara, and other Silicon Valley Fortune 500 companies. She networked with Professor Louis Freud, Industrial Engineer, San Jose State University, opening doors for presentation to city board members of City of Santa Clara.
Patricia is a Computer Ergonomic specialist and provided workstation evaluations to numerous corporations throughout Silicon Valley. She may be considered an Industrial Engineer through coursework through UCLA and OSHA. She wrote a 50-page catalog giving editorial advice and sale of products known to assist individuals to prevent repetitive strain injuries. Entrepreneur, William Hewlett purchased two of Patricia’s wrist rests for his own home!
Patricia has also sold office and computers, printers and accessories. She has also sold other technical products including cell phones. She presented well-crafted seminars on ergonomic solutions to The National Professional Secretaries group, and co-presented with other Health and Safety specialist Basic Ergonomic Standards to the employees of Hewlett-Packard and LSI Logic.
Patricia has authored many newsletters, including SMART REAL ESTATE, and SANTA CLARA VILLIAGE NEWS, & SHEPHERDING NEWSLETTER, and published poems and articles in the San Jose Business Journal and San Jose Mercury News. She welcomes opportunities for interview by radio and TV. She developed the Powerful Pens writing group in Cupertino, and owned her own small business, Pat Johnson Resumes.
